I have the skin cleansing kit already for my childhood Molly and now that things have slowed down (thank God for fall and winter!) and I have the time, Molly's getting a makeover. Or rather, a fix up job.
I've heard of several options for fixing doll hair and I was wondering which is easiest and less risky? I would be heart broken if something happened to my PM Molly because she was the ONLY doll I loved as a little girl! Her hair is dull and a little frizzy, and obviously will need to be rebraided. Has anyone gotten their hair close to new looking with a treatment/rebraid?
Another question: Would it be possible to buy the Meet Outfit for Molly seperately? Somewhere along the line, Molly and her clothes parted ways and that's the only outfit that would be hard to replace out of my childhood collection.
Thanks for the answers, guys! It's tempting to get another Molly as my "along for the ride" doll, so if something happened to her I'm not losing part of my collection. (I'm a display and play collector...hehe...they have to look good enough to display, but they also get gentle play, scene setting, cuddles, etc. ) Then again, as long as the doll is still being made, then AG hospital can fix most problems, right? Though my Kit is another one I couldn't stand to lose, as she was a gift from my mother last Christmas.
Ugh, I'm rambling.
